Inspiration: Death Valley

I am back, fully inspired from my trip to Death Valley National Park. The combination of extreme heat and low elevations has naturally stripped away the land, showcasing very unique beauty. Here are some sights that caught my eye…

This is a salt flat at Badwater Basin, the lowest point in North America…

Mesquite Sand Dunes…

This is what they call Artist Palette, where minerals show off their myriad of colors…

Mosaic Canyon and its compelling ondulations created by currents of water, once upon a time…

Layers of history…

It is always inspiring to find blossoming life that can endure such dry conditions…

Last but not least, our way back home was as beautiful as our stay at Death Valley. We went to several hot springs on our way back to the main highway, and drove through Sequoia National Park. California is indeed beautiful!
